Who We Support

At Barrantes Community Inc., we offer a range of specialized services designed to meet the needs of children, youth, adults, and families. Our team is experienced in supporting individuals with diverse and complex needs across multiple areas of care. 


We Support:

  • Children (ages 6+), Youth, and Adults
  • Individuals with:
    • Developmental disabilities
    • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
    • Mental health challenges (e.g., anxiety, depression, trauma)
    • Neurodivergence (e.g., ADHD, OCD, sensory processing differences)
    • Complex behavioural needs
    • Medical, mobility, or chronic health conditions
    • Acquired brain injuries, stroke, or spinal cord injuries
  • Caregivers and Families seeking respite or emotional support

Accepted Funding sources

We are committed to making our services accessible and affordable for all families. We accept a wide range of funding sources and can assist you in navigating the options available for your specific needs.


We accept the following, depending on the service:

  • Passport Funding (Ministry of Children, Community, and Social Services)
  • Ontario Autism Program (OAP)
  • Special Services at Home (SSAH)
  • Complex Special Needs (CSN)
  • Children’s Aid Society (CAS) Funding (where applicable)
  • Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) for eligible First Nations and Inuit clients
  • Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) for eligible PSW services
  • Home and Community Care Support Services (HCCSS) referrals for eligible PSW support
  • Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) and Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) coverage for rehabilitation
  • School Board Contracts / Local Children’s Services for therapy-related services
  • Extended Health or Insurance Benefits for counselling, PSW, or rehab services (where applicable)
  • Private Pay Options are available for all services, with flexible payment plans
  • Other Third-Party Funding Sources, based on eligibility or referral

Once intake is complete, we will work with you to schedule support based on your needs and our availability.
